Take A Walk With Me …

Wanderer, voyager, sightseer, or wayfarer … there are many names for those with wanderlust.

Sometimes the urge to go somewhere, anywhere, is so overwhelming it interferes with daily life.  I should probably blame the books I read as a child.  My constant companions, and truest friends, were always transporting me someplace new; a secret garden in England, a lonely train in Russia, or a seafaring vessel 20,000 leagues beneath the sea.
I have always loved to write but the prose generally lacked my “real” feelings and reactions to the surrounding world.  I feel it is high time I stop writing for everyone else and write for the enjoyment of doing so.  Welcome to the place for me to talk about the sights, sounds, smells, and tactile qualities of the places I travel.  I hope you enjoy joining me on my journeys, as much as I enjoy taking them.

“The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” ~St. Augustine
