In 2012, I had the opportunity to take a weekend excursion into Hungary. With little time to prepare, I had no idea what to expect when I arrived. I found a city, divided by a river, with green, white, and red bridges connecting Buda and Pest. Frank Zappa is still adored and the local accent is more reminiscent of Norway than Eastern Europe. It's a city that has modern elements next to ancient remains and the people move from era to era with ease.
